Corvus Tenebris Lumina

In here will be the art concept and progress of Corvus, an original character of mine created as an important backstory NPC for Dungeons & Dragons. I first start with his headshot concept design and then proceed to expand it.

Corvus is a Shadar-Kai elf and older brother of Rosalind. He, along with his sister, would travel together, always exploring and researching about lost tribes, dead languages, relics, books, etc. He and his sister are researchers, but he would mostly be the one to get his hands on books his sister was not able to have and he would gladly steal them for her. As years passed, Rosalind got interested in a specific lost tribe located in "The Dark Pass" forest and with enough researcher, they managed to find the map to go in. But their expedition went horribly wrong when his sister unleashed an evil being that had been sealed away for a long time. Because of this, Corvus sacrificed himself in order to save Rosalind and he eventually did, for she managed to escape.
